Kim was born and raised in central Illinois and now calls Branson Missouri home. She has always been a creative person and her passion for writing goes back to her childhood.

Through the Storm is a book born out of the loss of her middle child, Morgan. Losing a child doesn’t define Kim, but it has impacted her every day since January 6, 2014. Through healing and sharing her loss, she discovered just how many around her have also lost a child. Her wish for you as a reader is to know that you’re never alone.
